SPECIALIZING IN TREE REMOVALS, TREE PRUNING & STUMP GRINDING
As a general rule, any tree or shrub that produces a blossom or fruit should be fertilized. Any tree or shrub that has been pruned should receive applications of fertilizer.
In our yards, the competition for sunlight, water, and nutrients is fierce between the trees, landscape planting and the turf area. A lot of people fertilize their lawn, but what about your plants and trees? The landscape plants and trees, in most case
s, are much more costly to replace than the lawn and require more nutrients for vigorous growth, bright colorful blossoms and overall health.
Every time there is a cut on a plant or tree, it is an injury the plant will have to seal over. Although pruning, when done correctly is very beneficial, all cuts are injuries and do add stress to the tree. In order to have these injuries seal faster, promote less decay, and enhance the growth pattern, it is strongly recommended to apply fertilizer.
There are a few basic types of fertilizer. We recommend a slow release pelletized fertilizer, 14-14.14, when installed in to the ground, it can last up to 3 months. Slowly seeping nutrients into the soil for the feeding roots to pick up.
